  • Items are not sold as new unless explicitly stated.

We take reasonable care to ensure that:

  • All descriptions are accurate;
  • Images represent the item as clearly as possible.

However:

  • Colours and finishes may vary depending on device display;
  • Assessments of condition involve a degree of professional judgement.

All product images form part of the item description and condition disclosure.

4. Condition & Grading

Where applicable, items may be described using condition grading (e.g. Excellent, Very Good, Good).

These gradings:

  • Reflect our professional assessment;
  • Are inherently subjective.

Customers are responsible for reviewing:

  • All images;
  • Full written descriptions

prior to purchase.

5. Authenticity

We take reasonable steps to verify the authenticity of all items sold.

However:

  • Authentication is based on expertise, industry knowledge, and available information at the time of assessment;
  • Absolute certainty cannot be guaranteed.

If an item is demonstrated to be not authentic, we will:

  • Investigate the matter; and
  • Provide an appropriate remedy in line with your statutory rights.

6. Pricing and Payment

6.1 Pricing

All prices are listed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to amend pricing at any time prior to order acceptance.

6.2 VAT

Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable unless stated otherwise.

6.3 International Orders

Maison JC Ltd offers international shipping to selected destinations.

Where an order is placed for delivery outside the United Kingdom:

  • The customer is responsible for any import duties, taxes, and customs charges;
  • Delivery timeframes may vary depending on destination and customs processing;
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities or international carriers.

7. Order Acceptance

A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of your order via email.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders where necessary, including:

  • Pricing errors;
  • Suspected fraudulent activity;
  • Availability issues.

8. Delivery

8.1 Shipping

Orders are dispatched using fully tracked and insured delivery services.

  • UK delivery typically takes 1–3 working days from dispatch;
  • International delivery typically takes 3–7 working days, depending on destination.

8.2 Risk

Risk in the goods passes to you upon confirmed delivery.

8.3 Delays

We are not liable for delays outside our control, including:

  • Courier disruptions;
  • Customs processing delays.

9. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item.

To exercise this right:

  • You must notify us in writing within this 14-day period;
  • You then have a further 14 days to return the item.

10. Returns and Refunds

Returns are governed by our Returns and Refunds Policy.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be returned within the required timeframe;
  • The item must be in the same condition as received;
  • All original packaging, accessories, and documentation must be included where applicable.

We reserve the right to:

  • Reduce any refund to reflect diminished value where applicable;
  • Refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

We do not offer discretionary return periods beyond those required by law.

11. Faulty or Misdescribed Goods

If an item is:

  • Not as described; or
  • Faulty

you are entitled to remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

You must notify us within a reasonable time of discovering the issue.

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence;
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • Any rights you have under applicable law.

Subject to the above:

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the item;
  • We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit or opportunity.

13. Intellectual Property and Brand Disclaimer

All content made available by Maison JC Ltd, including but not limited to:

  • Product images and photography;
  • Item descriptions and written content;
  • Branding, logos, and design elements created by us;

(collectively, the “Content”) is owned by or licensed to Maison JC Ltd and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Maison JC Ltd retains all intellectual property rights in its original photography and written content. The inclusion of third-party branded products, trademarks, or logos within such Content does not affect our ownership of the underlying images or descriptions. All third-party brand rights remain the property of their respective owners.

This Content is made available for personal, non-commercial use only.

You may not, without our prior written consent:

  • Copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or otherwise use any Content;
  • Use any Content for commercial purposes;
  • Republish, reuse, or relist our images or descriptions on any platform, including but not limited to websites, online marketplaces (such as eBay or Vinted), or social media;
  • Extract, scrape, or systematically collect Content or data from our website or listings.

Any unauthorised use of our Content may result in:

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
